“I Heart You” is the latest single from sultry songstress Toni Braxton.
Toni Braxton is back with her latest single from her anticipated album release in May.
For those of you who don’t watch her in the reality television series Braxton Family Values you’re probably wondering – where has she been? In Australia she hasn’t featured at the top of the charts since the late 1990s early 2000.
She has had a number of health problems over the years – in 2008 while on the television series Dancing With The Stars she suffered from Microvasvcular Angina and in 2010 she announced that she had been suffering from Lupus.
Toni has released a number of albums over the years – but none with the success of her earlier releases.
“I Heart You” showcases her famed deep vocals and features a dance-electro beat.
Toni says of the song; “When I wrote this song I was thinking about the feeling you get when you walk into a club and you hear the melody, you feel the beat and you just know it’s going to be a good night.”
Personally, I am not a fan of the dance beat I think she could have left that out. I am really tiring of artists incessantly trying to hybridise R&B with dance music – it’s almost as if R&B in it’s purest form is dying out.
