REVIEW: Burt’s Bees Skincare Radiance

A featured ingredient of the Radiance line is Royal Jelly — it is very nourishing, royal jelly is made of nectar, pollen, flower parts, vitamins, minerals, and other natural ingredients. It is a very precious, mysterious substance that honeybees produce and feed to only select young bees, which in turn become mature and fertile queen bees. The queen bee lives 40 times longer than her worker bees.

For dry to normal skin divas/divos with young skin I recommend trying the following products from the Burt’s Bees Radiance line:

Radiance Day Lotion (or Day Creme in a jar with a thicker formula for those with very dry skin) This wonderfully natural day lotion is specially formulated with royal jelly, one of nature’s most nourishing substances, to help renew and enhance skin’s natural radiance. Titanium dioxide and zinc oxide provide broad spectrum protection to reflect the sun’s harmful UVA/UVB rays, which are associated with premature aging. So you get younger looking skin, naturally. AUD $39.95 / USD $18.00

Radiance Night Creme Wake up your skin with a renewed radiance. This light-weight natural moisturiser is specially formulated with royal jelly, one of nature’s most nutritious substances, and botanical oils and extracts to help enhance skin’s natural radiance. With lemon, rosemary and pine tree extracts for deep overnight treatment, you’ll get naturally radiant, younger-looking skin. AUD $39.95 / USD $18.00

Radiance Eye Creme Watch radiance appear in the blink of an eye. This wonderfully natural eye creme with royal jelly helps soften skin, increase radiance, and restore essential moisture to the delicate skin around the eyes. AUD $34.95 / USD $18.00

Not from the Radiance line however I highly recommended this hand cream:
Almond Milk Beeswax Hand Creme Pure help for hard-working hands. This super rich, all-natural hand cream is made with sweet almond oil and vitamin E to moisturise dry skin and beeswax to help seal and shield your hands from the elements. With such a sweet scent, you’ll always be reminded to feed your skin with the nourishing care. AUD $19.95 / USD $9.00

Australia: You can purchase Burt’s Bees from Priceline, Myer, David Jones and all good pharmacies. For a limited time at Myer (September 2011) if you spend more than $24.95 on Burt’s Bees products in one transaction you receive a free gift pack which includes Milk and Honey Body lotion, Rhubarb lip shimmer, coconut foot creme and shea hand creme.

North America: You can purchase Burt’s Bees from their website and from Target, Rite-Aid and other retailers in your area, check the website for specific stockists in your state.

I hope you enjoyed my review and for those who have considered trying out Burt’s Bees Radiance products I hope that my opinion has served to inform your decision. Have you tried Burt’s Bees products? What are your thoughts, comment below or Facebook/Tweet me!
