M.A.C Reel Sexy is one the three latest collections for official release on April 5 2012 (unofficially it is available online). The bright products are the embodiment of Spring/Summer.
Earlier this month I attended my first M.A.C Techniques workshop at the M.A.C counter in Brisbane City Myer. A Techniques Workshop is a 2 hour class taught by M.A.C makeup artists on how to apply makeup with M.A.C products step by step to achieve a specific look set by the workshop theme (which changes every time.)
This month my girl Miss C and I received a big order from M.A.C so half of these items are mine and half are hers. We’re a bad influence on each other when it comes to buying more make up then we probably need *slaps my wrist.* Miss C is an NC45 and NC42 in concealer so to my sistas rockin NC/NW’s in the 40s, that deep delicious caramel skintone these products are going to look hot on you. I haven’t swatched Miss C’s products because I wasn’t about to open a sista’s products up before she does!
I have been building this neutral M.A.C eyeshadow palette for quite some time and I would like to showcase it to you and let you know which colours I recommend for purchase for your collection (these are all in the permanent line).
I have bought a few products from M.A.C this month:
- Studio Fix Fluid Foundation in NC35;
- Studio Finish Concealer in NC35;
- Mineralize Skinfinish Natural in Medium Dark;
- Lipstick in Ravishing
I bought a double ended blending eyeshadow brush from Models Prefer also from Priceline.
I am putting it out there, I am obsessed with M.A.C Viva Glam Gaga II lipstick ($36 AUD and $14.50 US) and matching lipglass ($14.50 US). It was released into the Viva Glam collection February 17 2011 in the US/Canada and internationally March 2011. However, as with the original Viva Glam Gaga (a bright cool toned bubble gum pink), it is limited edition till February 2012.
